BEUMER Group receives innovation award „TOP 100“ in 2005

BEUMER Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG in Beckum received the TOP 100 award for its outstanding innovative achievements in the year 2005. This prestigious award was presented to BEUMER on June 22 as a result of a nationwide survey analyzing management’s use of innovative techniques within medium-sized companies.

The survey, which was conducted by The Wirtschaftsuniversität Vienna, analyzed and evaluated four fields of innovation management: innovative processes and organization, innovative climate, innovative marketing and innovative supporting top management.

In this survey BEUMER Group’s strength with regard to product and service innovation as well as its innovative optimization in products and handling was recognized.

The main focus of the analyzed product innovations was on the development of the contactless energy supply to its marketability. With this technology BEUMER Group has set new standards in its field.

Today, the contactless energy supply is used in several different product lines within BEUMER Group’s sortation and distribution systems, as a result of which the company has an enormous technical and economical competitive advantage.
