High temperatures, complex configurations, overcoming extreme heights - thanks to a comprehensive product range, BEUMER apron conveyors are ideally matched to the special demands involved in the transportation of hot materials.
The tried-and-tested mechanical components of apron conveyor technology are the basis for extreme reliability and problem-free operation. The use of highquality construction materials in combination with technologies developed down to the last detail and manufacturing precision ensure a long service life and guarantee significant economic benefits.
Hot materials discharged from the oven cooler at temperatures of up to 600 °C place particularly high demands on conveying equipment. BEUMER apron conveyors offer a choice of cell widths ranging from 500 to 2,000 mm, axis intervals of up to 250 m and transportation volumes of up to 1,255 m3/h to provide optimum system solutions.
Apron conveyor:
The apron conveyor is an economical design for horizontal and inclined conveying up to 28°. Special features may be added to make inclinations of up to 60° possible. An extremely lowcost unit preferred for applications of up to 45° inclination.
Bucket/belt conveyor:
The bucket/belt conveyor is a special design utilizing a steel cable reinforced belt instead of a double side-bar chain as the traction element. Particularly effective with high conveying rates combined with large center distances and extreme conveying heights.
Hinged apron conveyor:
The hinged apron conveyor is a sturdy design for horizontal and slightly inclined transport. Additional partitions make inclinations up to 35° possible.
Hinged bucket conveyor:
The hinged bucket conveyor is used exclusively with varying conveyor routes along with steep inclines and narrow radii (s-curves). The deep buckets with hinges located at the upper edges allow for a low construction height and form a completely sealed conveyor strand.
Tipping tray conveyor:
The tipping tray conveyor with intermediate discharge is utilized in cases where several discharge points are employed at random, such as for feeding silo batteries and storage halls.
